My name is John Cannon. This blog is a chance for me to write about sports in my own unique way. I don’t see sports the same as most people, so you won’t read opinions here that you’ve read a thousand other places on the web.

I have had a lifelong passion for sports. I eventually found a way to make a living at it, working as a television and radio sportscaster in Phoenix from 1993-2000. For the past dozen or so years I’ve lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, working as a mortgage broker to support my wife and our 8-year-old twin girls.
